RC Makati North: 3-5 at 35!

The stars shone brightly on RC Makati North this year. All the hard work of Pres. Joe Reaño to bring honor and pride to the club paid off.

Last May 31, RC Makati North, the 3rd Rotary Club chartered in Makati (next to RC Makati and RC Makati West), received the District Governor’s 5-Star Mark of Excellence, the top award for a Rotary Club in D3830. RCMN is one among just 14 clubs who earned this top award.

RCMN was also accorded an award of Distinction for contributing a total of US$35,000 to The Rotary Foundation, an ambitious target pursued and achieved, to commemorate the club’s 35 years of fellowship and service. There were other awards received by Pres. Joe Reaño for other achievements of the club but these were the standouts. (See the list of awards and citations below).

Naturally, Pres. Joe was beaming with pride. He was applauded not only by the Sharing Presidents, DG Ato Magadia and DS Ric dela Torre but also by Spouse Choi, PP Tony Chong, PP Pabling Calma and spouse Maribel, PP Roger Nicandro, Dir. Bob Hecks, Spouses Cora Tan and Daisy dela Torre.

Congratulations are in order to all members of the club for their support and cooperation to make this a banner year for the RC *Makati North. Mabuhay!
