Support for the Poker Tournament fund raiser

I feel overwhelmed by the outstanding write up done by Rtn. Vince Tan over last week’ meeting.

If I would not have seen him taking notes, believe one can think, he had a recording device with him. One full page of packed information on what happened. Thank you Vince.

Please acknowledge again the generosity of PP Pabling in donating a large amount to RCMN on the occasion of his Birthday. As Pres Archie commented, it will go a lllooonnnggg way.

PP Dieter invited every RCMNer to participate actively in the search of Poker (Rotarians or not) aficionados who wish to contribute with their talents to a successful tournament on March 10 at the Waterfront Hotel Manila (12:00 til 22:00) and raise funds for each participant of P 1,0000 for their Rotary Club.

Please help also to recruit Donors and Sponsors for the event which will benefit directly RCMN coffers.

Our Guest speaker, PP Ruben Pascual is a successful businessman of a different wood (as we say in Germany). He leads the Landmark Education System in Manila and motivates the course participants to self analysis and recognition of weak points. Three of our Rotarians attended the courses and as they spoke about their contributions, they benefitted enormously from the experience. I think the main challenge is to be honest with one self and have an open heart to such a very intimate challenge.
