Those who attended RCMN’s traditional Club Assembly on the first meeting of the year were glad they came. We were not many (14) but that number included several faces we don’t see every week. Thankfully it also included faces we do see at most meetings!

The meeting was unusually informal. The Call to Order seemed unnecessary as there was no scheduled program. Pres. Archie did tell us about a few things which were not mentioned in his very readable and inspiring President’s Message in ‘Ang Magiting’. These extra messages were about the upcoming visit to the Aetas at Botolan (tentatively Feb 4-5) and the generosity of two of our members in directly helping with financial support for our feeding programs at the F. Benitez primary schools at Brgy. Sta. Cruz and Brgy. Singkamas, Makati.

The December 2011 edition of Philippine Rotary continued the new look and style introduced by Editor-in-Chief PDG Mel Salazar. Noticeable is the inclusion of mostly Philippine content, with less about Rotary in other countries.
