An Inspiring Story by a Casanova

Last week’s meeting was started off with a wonderful invocation by Dir. Edwin Tiotuyco. During President’s Time, Global Pres. Mac Mclean briefed the club on the discussions of the Board meeting on how the club can move forward with new member bylaws that are acceptable and fair. With his legal expertise, PP Roger Nicandro offered the club to help develop the bylaws.

Our guest speaker was Arnel Paciano D. Casanova of Asia Society. I think we all agreed in the awesomeness of our guest’s name. Global Pres. Mac mentioned how he once took part in a Casanova Tours in Europe – and was excited to announce the opening of a similar tour in the country – the Robert Syjuco Tours.

Casanova gave an inspirational story about his life. From a little boy learning how to split an egg between siblings to a Harvard University master’s graduate, Casanova is now trying to help his country through social enterprise. He also showed us slides about his NASA & Space exposure project for kids in local schools in the Philippines.
