I thank everyone who joined the fellowship as well as those who wished for it’s success but could not join due to some pressing reasons. I hope that this activity will perk up the energy of fellow rotarians to look forward to better meeting days ahead of us. Our Chairmen for Youth has reactivated the Rotaract and doing his job fantastically. Kudos to you Ian. Congratulations to Mike Clancy for a successful and innovative club administration programs.
Now that we have finished with Part one the next fellowship will be with our Anns at a comedy bar probably “ the Library” and followed with our family fellowship probably at the place of VP Klink in Caliraya if he allows us at the same time do medical mission in some depressed areas in the place. . There will be golf for golfers, Badminton, fishing, boat rides, swimming and all other sports. It will depend on the members whether they want another fellowship similar to Part one. We can have this event after our own Golf Club tournament.
I request again our Makati North Golfers to coordinate with PN Chito for our golf team and select our team captain for the coming first governor’s cup tournament. The Club needs your support and every talent is needed to bring back the glory that was once ours in the field of golf.
Our sister club from Singapore is getting our opinion on how to start a friendship game with their sister club in Taiwan who is also interested to be a sister club of Makati North. It is our decision to hold the golf game in Manila or we want to visit them in Taiwan for golf. Making Taiwan a sister club will be very beneficial for the club in terms of financial assistance to our joint projects since their government cares of their citizens.
I would like to remind everyone that we can be of service to our less fortunate fellowmen at the same time have fun and make Rotary enjoyable for us, our family and people whom we have helped and plan to help.
“To receive everything one must open one’s hand and give” Let us share what we have for we cannot share what we do not have.

My dear fellow Rotarians with RC Makati North:

The following information should give you an idea of the extent of RCMN’s participation, so far, in the coming days and up to the actual date of the event:
KARL STUART McKINNON McLEAN
Born in Gibraltar , August 1, 1955 where my dad ran Shell refinery then moved with my family to Hamburg, then London , followed by Holland where I spent 8 years of my life as my father was on the main board of Shell in London.
I went to a Dutch school which was fabulous as the Dutch are the “freeist” nation in the world. As class prefect I sat on the school board with teachers and parents and my vote had the same power as the teachers.
I played a lot of soccer and earlier cricket.
