For RC Makati North!

Aside from membership, many rotary clubs are having concerns not only on funding their projects but also with some administrative issues like expenses. And our club, the Rotary Club of Makati North, is dealing with the same concerns. Even having these situations, it won’t diminish our capabilities and willingness to do our obligations and responsibilities to serve our club and our communities. As an RCMNer, I already learned how to love this club for I learned so much from the members not only about rotary but most especially on how to live my life powerfully. I’ve been hoping and wishing that the friendship that I gained from this organization will last forever and I keep on creating that every year RCMN will be stronger and better club.

As we grow, here is the list of the items that I want to address during this rotary year with the help of each and every one of us.

President elect

• With assistance of our council of past presidents (PP), I do believe that they could come up with the best way to fill up this very important position.

• For our PE, no need to worry about on how to be a club president, you will learn it along the way. And the whole club will support you, I am here together with the PP’s to guide you in representing RCMN. You have very active partners in service, our RCCs, Rotaract and Interact clubs, and of course we have the best and very dynamic secretariat that makes things simple and easy.

• Jump! The water is fine.

Raising funds

• There are so many ways to raise funds for us to address the clubs concern in financial deficits. Poker tournament, golf tournament, le cabaret are just some projects that we can work on to that will provide enough resources which is beneficiary even for the next rotary year. We should have a regular fund raising project before the end of each rotary year for the benefit of the club that we will have seed money for the following year.

• RCMN has so many good and valuable projects ever since and some of these projects must be revived and sustained. Proper funding is needed to accomplish these missions. I know it sounds simple, but not easy, but we should remember that we are the Rotary club of Makati North, we can do this!

Membership and Attendance

• Inviting and recruiting new members will surely help us to cope up with our administrative expenses and each of us are responsible on this. Let’s keep on sharing our club and rotary to our friends and colleagues and let them feel what they can do to the society as Rotarians.

• Let’s encourage each other to attend our weekly meeting, fellowships and projects so everyone, especially the baby Rotarians will see and feel what RCMNers are all about.

• Communicating your thoughts with us on how we can make our meetings interesting, what kind of speakers and topics you want to hear, what kind of fellowships you want every month and what kind of projects you would want to accomplish?

• We need to keep the passion alive in us and with this; I do believe that we could bring back the glory to RCMN.

No one will take care of this club aside from us, I love this club, this is our club!
