Gentlemen of RC Makati North!
An important part of assisting your Rotary club is to pay one’s annual dues and it is in the interest of our club that our members do so to enable us to participate in our regular projects as well as to continue to pay our staff whom we all love so dearly.
I am working hard on a number of plans to get our Feeding program up to 400 students from our two schools ALL year.
We are working with RC Las Vegas as well as RC Raffles City and RC HK Island East and I do hope we will know by latest October how much we can collect to go towards our feeding program. Our original “hope” was 150 students all year but I feel confident we may actually reach the 400 mark.
Our eye check up for the schools will be 2nd Saturday in October 2010 with Dra. Dianne and Dr. Jean Paul Chua. We need to co-ordinate the schedules with the schools.
Let’s all try and get two new members each per member so that we can grow our club as well as strengthen our club with new energy soonest.
I would like to propose a “members page” in our “Ang Magiting” where we can put ideas, items for sale, events, etc. for all to see.
Tonight we have our latest “fellowship” night at “Zuni” where we have booked the VIP room just in case our friend RS brings some “talent” for us to chat and share.
I am sponsoring on behalf of our club two anti dengue treatment sessions @P2000 each. One at East Rembo and one at Brgy. Singkamas as Dengue has reached crisis points now.
There are apparently natural ways of beating dengue:
• Drink lots of Alkaline Ionised water (Ph level 9.8 if possible)
• Drink lots of guava and guyabano juice which have the highest levels of Vitamin C
• Make soup out of Kamote leaves
• Wheat grass
• Lots of Isotonic drinks
You may pee a lot but I have had many friends who have already been cured by this so it seems to work.
See you all at Zuni’s tonight.
