PJ JISON – Consumer Banking

Philip “PJ” Jison was born in Los Angeles, California. He attended Marquez Charter School in the Pacific Palisades until he was 11. His parents decided to move back to the Philippines in 1997 where he then attended International School of Manila. He then left back for Los Angeles where he spent 2 years at Santa Monica College. He then transferred to Marymount Manhattan College in New York where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.

His grandfather, Teofilo Reyes JR, was a former District Governor of District 3820 in the late 70’s. PJ’s uncle was also a former Rotarian of Rotary Club Westwood, California.

PJ has started his career at the Bank of the Philippine Islands and has recently been promoted to Assistant Manager in the bank’s consumer banking field sales division. He focuses on providing financial wellness to mass market clientele.

His primary focus right now is his banking career but also helps out with several family businesses.

His mother, Kathryn, own’s Capezio Philippines which is a dancewear boutique. They have stores in Glorietta, Shangri-la Plaza and Alabang Town Center. Kathryn’s family use to own the Goldcrest shopping center in Makati which was started by her father Teofilo Reyes JR in the 1950’s. Kathryn’s family also owns The Wine Club located in Legaspi Village which primarily focuses on northern Californian wines.

His father, Norman is a sugar planter in Silay, Negros Occidental and they are currently in the process of developing part of the land from agriculture to more commercial and residential developments.

PJ is a Los Angeles Laker fan.
