RC Raffles City Visits Feeding Program at FBES Main

In accordance with its long line-up of projects for the year 2011-2012, the Rotary Club of Makati North show-cased its Feeding Program at F. Benitez Elementary School (Main) last July 13, 2011, to its sister club, RC Raffles City, Singapore D3310.

The Feeding Program started in 2003 with 30 students as beneficiaries under PP Donnies Alas who was then the president of the Rotary Club of Makati North. To help students focus and concentrate more on their studies as well as to increase their weight and fight malnutrition, the Feeding Program has been an annual project since then. To date, the program has now 101 beneficiaries and most of which are Grade I and Grade II students.

Among the people who graced the event are RCMN Pres. Archie Reaño, PP Vic Austria, PP Mac McLean, PP Ric dela Torre, and Treas. Robert Syjuco. To show their support to the RCMN, the RC Raffles City Singapore Pres. Aaron Tan, Dr/PP Jimmy Daruwalla, andDr/PP Chin Koy Nam were also there.
