Fellowship with the new 'Oceans 13'

When the Rotary elders suggested that the clubs should think out of the box, they probably were not thinking of Makati North’s very own “Oceans 13.”

Our local “Oceans 13” found a creative way to raise money for the club — and at the same time, have loads of fun. Regrettably, the details of the scheme cannot be disclosed because it probably violated lots and lots of rules. Suffice it say that the plan was successful, and that PP Bert Lingad played his part as Brad Pitt beautifully.

What can be reported is that the attendees had a sumptuous dinner at Resorts World. And afterwards, some were saying that it was the best meeting the club has had in a long time.
