IACT Brgy. Singkamas Orientation

Last August 14, at Barangay Singkamas, one of RCMN’s adopted barangay located in Makati, Rotarians from Makati north conducted a reading program and Interact Club Orientation.

Right after the reading program led by Dir PJ Jison, RCMN conducted an orientation for the newly formed Interact club in the said barangay. Interact club was composed of teenagers ages 14 to 18, which is now changed to 12 to 18. RC Makati North invited PP Mohammad Yasin Badr of RC Las Pinas and District Chair for Interact, to lead the orientation.

PP Yasin Badr explained to the 13 Interactors who were present, a brief history of the interact club. He also shared the responsibilities of each Interactors not only to their self but to their community as well and also all about being an Interactor.

Among the Rotarians who went to those two projects were, Dir. Archie Reano (Youth Service), Dir. Kevin Prasad, Dir. PJ Jison, Rtn. Je Arriola, RAC IPP Edward Ison, RAC Pres. Ronald Ibanez and President Mac McLean and spouse Izzy.

Dir Archie Reano together with RACIPP Ed Ison and RAC Pres Ronald Ibanez talked to the Interactors and shared on how to create possibilities and make it available to their communities through Rotary Club. At a very young age they are lucky to be involved and be part of this kind of organization whose objective is to make a difference.
