RCMN Grants Wishes of Children

By: Betty Centeno

Yes, the month of December is totally the most wonderful time of the year, as the song goes saying. A total of 234 pupils from the club’s adopted schools: Francisco Benitez Elementary School Main and III of Brgys Sta Cruz & Singkamas were the recipients of the club “Grant A Christmas Wish” gift-giving project.

It is a heartwarming occasion where you can see the eyes of the children lit up when they received the gifts they selected from the three choices they made: either shoes, dress or toy. The gift-giving was held last Dec. 14 & 15. Both principals of two schools – Mrs. Cecilia Payumo and Mrs. Betty Mojica (representing Dr. Jonard Pablo) thanked the club for their unending support to the schools and its pupils.

Before the gift-giving, the children presented special numbers such as singing, dancing and a Christmas drama presentation to the delight of the guests. After the program, a sumptuous meal of chicken, spaghetti and juice was served to the children.

The club wishes to thank the sponsors of the project, namely:
