The Rotary Club of Makati North successfully hosted this year’s district handover ceremonies. This year’s handover event was an important occasion as it ushered in the term of RCMN’s only remaining chartered member Ato Magadia as Governor of District 3830. The club is also privileged to have a PP Ric De la Torre serve a District Secretary. In the same event, all Sharing Presidents and District Officers were inducted by DG Ato. Pres. Joe Reano is now officially head honcho of the club.
A large number of Rotarians who attended the jampacked handover ceremonies were all praises for the well managed event. The program itself was kept on time and the dinner was served just in time.
District Governor Ato Magadia opened his inaugural speech with a song. While this is no surprise to RCMN members, DG Ato’s signing was a pleasant surprise to the other guests. After the ceremonies and dinner, the guest continued to enjoy the night with dancing to the the beat of a live band. PP Ric de la Torre was one of the best dancer on the floor, to the utter amazement of Ann Daisy de la Torre.
Pres. Joe, as his usual self, was very popular with the Sharing Presidents. In fact he was the unofficial host of the Rotarians from Palawan.
