Last Wednesday, July 20, one week after the induction of Pres. Archie Reaño and his new Board of Directors, RCMN launched its Feeding Program at F. Benitez Elementary School Main in Brgy. Sta Cruz, Makati City.
One Hundred One indigent and undernourished grade 1 & 2 pupils were chosen to be the recipient of the project. This was made possible by a matching grant which was filed and approved during the term of IPP Mac McLean. The program will run from July 2011 until March 2012.

This project is in partnership with the Rotary Club of Hongkong Island East D3450, RC Niigita Japan D2560, Inner Wheel Club of Makati North, Rotary Community Corps of Brgy Sta Cruz and F. Benitez Elementary School Main.
The Rotarians who joined the said project were Pres. Archie Reaño, Treas. Robert Syjuco, IPP Mac McLean, PPs Joe Reaño, Boy Sevilla, Chet Tan, PDG Ato Magadia. The IWCMN were represented by Pres. Christine Marco, PNP Vicky Magadia, PP Daisy dela Torre, Choi Reaño and Cynthia Magdaraog.
Our partners in service from RCC Brgy. Sta Cruz who also came in full force was Ida Rafols, Vilma Bermillo, Ning Sibayan, Emma Estrella, Phines Manalili, Mandy Garfin, Ricky Trinidad, Michelle Rafols, Tita Gina and Mrs. Tameng Pacibe.
During the program, while the kids were having a sumptuous feast, a group of girls performed a native and modern dance numbers to the delight of the members who were present.
Also, Mrs. Cecilia Payumo, the school principal, profoundly thanked RCMN and IWCMN for the continues support given to their school for the benefits of its pupils.
RCMN Pres. Archie Reaño and IWCMN Pres. Christine Marco in their respective messages thanked also the school for the opportunity to serve them as well as encourage the pupils to study well and to eat properly to have a strong and healthy body.
After the feeding program, the group was treated to a sumptuous lunch prepared by the RCC members.
The next launching of the said program for another One Hundred One pupils will be held on August 3 in F. Benitez Elementary School III, Brgy. Singkamas, Makati City, also for grade 1 & 2 pupils.
