Since we had no Guest speaker at last Wednesday’ meeting, we pooled together and conversed about Rotary International and its role in the community. This was very timely because our two prospective members Rod and Philip were present and had a direct input. PP Ric was very emphatic that service is the key driving force of the Organization and its success depends mainly on the contribution from Rotarians to the Rotary Foundation.
It was voiced out again that each and every RCMNer should try to regularize all overdue payments for dues and other concepts to the Club. Believe the Treasurer, we need badly those payments in order to move forward and provide PE Archie all possible elements to succeed.
RCMN wishes to continue to focus on our own projects – long and short term – like Feeding Program, Gawad Kalinga village in Tanay, the Aetas community in Botolan and the computerization program initiated by PP Gus Lagman. Our club projects should receive priority attention before District Projects. In General the perception was again, that the District should not compete with Club’ projects.
The Planning session for incoming Directors was set for Friday at Zuni so we can be assured, that PE Archie has everything in place to begin with a big roar his RY 2011-2012.
