“There are ten of us,” said moderator IPP Vic Austria, opening the meeting promptly at 1 p.m. Two more arrived later. That’s about as good as we can expect without an appealing guest speaker, or, as in this case, no guest speaker. Pres. Mac adjourned the meeting at 1:30 when it became clear that RCMNers had matters other than Rotary on their minds.

During that half-hour we recognized Chinese New Year with resounding “Kung Hee Fat Choi” salutes. IPP Vic Austria moderated as we reaffirmed fundraising activities, particularly the upcoming PAB’s Cup on Wednesday March 2. This event, honoring PP Pabling Calma, has already 14 confirmed players and eight hole sponsors.
